Quick study of a still from from a World War I movie I was watching. I'm really liking the overall blue tone, it has that somber, oppressive feel.

Waterfall Speed Paint

Just some speed paint practice with environments. Usually my exercises involve trying to match photos, but this time around I decided to just create an environment from the ground up. The process took a little more than 2 hours overall. I'll do more city design work in the future since I'm not satisfied with the results yet.

First speed paint of the new year!

Did an hour and a half long speed paint based on the style of Andrew Wyeth and Simon Stalenhag. It combines the rural 1930s America with diesel punk mechs.
